The Queenscliffe Planning Scheme Review is currently underway. Thank you to all of those who participated in the first consultation period, which ran from the 18th of April until the 20th of May 2011. During this stage heard your views on the strategic direction of the Borough and opportunities to improve its Planning Scheme through workshops, written submissions and an online survey. A second consultation period will provide the community with an opportunity to review and comment on the Draft Planning Scheme Review Report. The Queenscliffe Planning Scheme is the principal tool for managing land use and development within the Borough. It is a statutory document that sets out the objectives, policies, zones and planning permit requirements for the use, development, protection and conservation of land.
